Azulejo Gallery will hold a special exhibition "Vanilla Sky" by Kim Chan-song, Oh Ji-eun, and Hwang Do-you from August 5 to September 5, 2021. This exhibition, which takes the title from Cameron Crowe's film of the same name, focuses on the image of reality captured with a quick brush and the artist's unique gestures read here. The everyday landscapes created by these three young artists are all dotted with different sculptural languages. Kim Chan-song fills the screen with thick paint, Oh Ji-eun collects ordinary moments with a speedy brush that seems to be floating, and Hwang Do-yu builds a flower image close to the color by stacking non-overlapping strokes.

아줄레주 갤러리는 2021년 8월 5일부터 9월 5일까지 김찬송, 오지은, 황도유 3인의 기획전 《Vanilla Sky》를 개최합니다. 카메론 크로우의 동명의 영화에서 제목을 가져온 본 전시는 찰나의 붓질로 담아낸 현실의 이미지와 여기서 읽히는 아티스트 고유의 몸짓에 주목합니다. 이들 세 명의 젊은 화가들이 만들어낸 일상적 풍경들은 모두 다른 조형언어로 점철되어 있습니다. 김찬송은 되직한 물감을 툭툭 얹혀 화면을 채워가고, 오지은은 부유하는 듯한 속도감 있는 붓질로 평범한 순간들을 채집하며, 황도유는 중첩되지 않는 획들을 쌓아 색면에 가까운 화훼 이미지를 구축합니다.
